The developments in USA regarding kidnapping of the Venezuelan President and his wife is a shameful episode that all US persons should feel ashamed of.
Donald Trump was eyeing the “Noble Peace Prize” supported by the rogue countries such as Pakistan. When the Noble Peace Prize instead went to a Venezuelan, Mara Corina, Trump left all his pretences and has now become a contender for the “Noble Prize for Hacking” if there was one.
By unauthorizedly entering the Venezuelan territory and exfiltrating the President and his wife, Trump became the biggest human hacker of the globe.
Irrespective of the logic provided, this was an act of terrorism. It was not a war like Russia Vs Ukraine not an Entebbe kind of operation. There is a need to call out this kidnapping of a head of a state as an act of international goondaism that needs to be condemned.
This is likely to create a bad precedent and justify many other terror kidnapping.
This “Regime change” operation was an open admission that USA does not respect principles of international justice. We in India provided even Kasab a long judicial rope to defend himself and did not act like what Trump has done now.
We need to recognize that US in this terrorist mind can stoop to any length including kidnapping the ex-Bangladeshi president who is seeking asylum in India.
Mr Donald Trump and USA as a nation has lost all moral standing to call themselves as a “Democratic Leader” and a “Democratic Country” . They have given more respectability to countries like North Korea, China or Russia.
The actions of Mr Trump are nothing different from that of a dictator and hence needs to be condemned.
